Held hopefully in the physical sense on Saturday, June, 13 2020, we are providing a festive atmosphere for the start of Summer with fun for the whole family! HOWEVER, IN LIGHT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND CHANGES IN THE PERMITTING OF GROUP EVENTS, WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF STRUCTURING A VIRTUAL VERSION OF OUR EVENT 🙂

Van Cortlandt TC Summer Series: CANCELLED

Thursdays, May 21* – June 4* – June 18* –July 2 (2×2 relay) – July 16* – July 30* – August 13*

****As most know, all large gatherings are cancelled until the end of June, which sadly included the first races of our Summer Series, scheduled for May 21, June 4th and June 18th. We had hoped to be able to hold the remaining races of the series beginning with the 2×2 relay on July 2, and including the 3 remaining 5k races in July and August. Most unfortunately, because we cannot guarantee that these races can be held safely while the risks associated with group events during the corona virus pandemic remain high, we have decided to cancel the full series.

During this crisis we are so fortunate to be runners and can avail ourselves of outdoor trails (and even the Van Cortlandt cross country course) and still maintain social distancing. Please visit our park and enjoy running on our trails, safely. We look forward to seeing you all next summer for our Summer Series 2021.

Regarding races for which you are registered that have been cancelled, WITH YOUR PERMISSION, we will donate unused race fees to the Van Cortlandt Park Alliance who help maintain the outdoor spaces we love. Please let us know if you prefer a refund by sending an email to VCTConline@gmail.com and we will process it as quickly as possible.
